This Week's Ginghamsburg Highlights

August 11/12: Welcome to this week's bulletin!

...and then read on for the rest of the good stuff.

GUYS' NIGHT - THIS Thursday, August 16 - All guys are invited to the Avenue on the third Thursday of the month for food starting at 6pm and music at 6:30pm, followed by time for topics that men care about. Our first gathering starts with burgers and chips on the courtyard outside the Avenue, and then we’ll move inside for some hilarity (yes, that’s a real word, look it up) and hear a powerful message, entitled Identity Theft, from former bodybuilder, Dr. Thomas Krueger. There’s no cost, and it’s open for every man from age 18 on up. You should come and bring a friend! No RSVP required. Email [email protected] for info or to serve with the Guys' Night team.

JUST SO YOU KNOW - Our fall classes and groups start in early September. Visit the lobby on the weekend of August 25/26 for all the details and the opportunity to register.

SINGLE ADULTS SUNDAY LUNCHES - Ginghamsburg adults who are living life as single persons are invited on Sundays to meet up with one another at 9:45am weekly to go to worship and then enjoy lunch together – kids welcome. To connect, look for folks in the lobby each week wearing lime green name tags.

BAPTISM - Your next opportunity to embrace your faith publicly through baptism is Sunday, August 26, at the Taylorsville MetroPark. As if that alone weren't exciting enough, all are invited to make it a church family get-together while we also enjoy a cookout. Everything starts at 6pm. If you plan to be baptized, attend one required class in the room behind the Welcome Center after any worship celebration on August 18/19, or on Wednesday, August 22 at 6pm.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR - Our Community Fall Fest is on Saturday, September 15, starting at 4pm. FREE fireworks, carnival rides, petting zoo, inflatables, music and more! Oh, and lots of delicious food trucks. Start preparing your invite list for this evening of family fun.
